Custom Design Process
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER
Our first step is getting to know you! We want to hear all about your wedding or social event, color pallet, style, and any design pieces you have already decided on.
Design consultations are always complementary and essential to understanding your needs and expectations. In-person or via phone/video conference. |
1-5 business days after discussing the details for your special event, you will receive an emailed Design Proposal, which will outline the overall details of your design options with cost estimations for different elements discussed in your consultation. When you're ready to get designing, simply pay your custom design fee to get started! All other project costs will be quoted and invoiced after proofs have been approved and we go to print.

Once the design fee has been received, we begin the design process. This can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on number off pieces and any revisions that need to be made. This step is perhaps the most crucial to the design process, because it is here that you will approve and finalize your designs via an emailed proof. Although there are usually not many revisions, you are able to make any changes needed to the designs in this stage. It is of the utmost importance to us that you love your custom design!

After proofs have been signed off on, you will receive an invoice laying out your entire project in detail, that can be paid online. Once your project items are through production, any assembly needed will be done by hand and with lots of care and love. We take great pride in providing such a specialized service, putting our hands on each piece to ensure everything is ready to go. This step can take anywhere from 6-12 weeks depending on print method, supplies, and current production load.
Shipping will be through USPS Priority Mail with tracking. Rush shipping and local delivery are available pending availability. |

3 additional weeks when adding calligraphy addresses to your custom order. |
PRINTED ADDRESSES
If your guest addresses are being printed directly on the envelopes you've ordered, we will place your assembled invitations in the envelopes so they are ready to be mailed. We are happy to provide concierge mailing services for our clients, with postage and mailing supplies invoiced separately. Interested in custom postage stamps? We can do that too! HANDWRITTEN CALLIGRAPHY If you've packaged handwritten calligraphy with your custom order, we will begin lettering at this time. Once all pieces have been lettered, we will assemble your custom order and mail everything to you. If you've selected our concierge mailing service, we will take care of the mailing for you. One less thing for you to worry about while planning your special event! |
